Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

Our private studio is located Long Island City, Queens. Once an appt is confirmed, the address will be emailed to you.

How do I schedule an appointment?

At this time, we are booking existing or referred clients only. You may send an Email to innerspacegallery.info@gmail.com using the template in the “contact me” footer and the artist will follow up within a couple days to advise you on how to proceed.  If the project is accepted, you will be prompted to pay a deposit and we will coordinate our schedules to book.

Do you accept take walk-ins?

We do not take walk-ins, Innerspace Gallery is an appt-only, private studio.

The deposit is $100 for half day appts and $200 for full day appts.

At what age can I get tattooed?

In NY State you must be 18 years old with a state issued photo ID.

Do you do cover ups?

Yes we do, but we use our discretion because all coverups are not suitable projects and an in person consultations may be needed.

Do you do hand, finger, palm, side of foot or white tattoos?

No. There is no guarantee that it will stay.

Are your inks vegan/non toxic?

The brands I use claim to be vegan… and they claim that they are safe for human skin. The truth is that there are many chemical ingredients in tattoo ink, many are heavy metals. It is up to you to decide what you are willing to risk while getting a tattoo. If you’d like to look up ingredients, the brands I use are Intenze, Eternal and Dynamic.

What are your Covid19 updates?

Your artist will be taking extra safety precaution and sterilization steps. We require clients to show up to their appt without coughing, sneezing, having a fever or feeling sick. Please make us aware PRIOR TO YOUR APPT if there are any issues. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appt you will forfeit your deposit.

Can I come in for a consultation?

Consultations via email are the favored choice, so that all interactions can be logged and referenced.  An in person consultation can be scheduled if the condition of your skin is in question due to scarring, it is a coverup or if there are questions concerning your complexion and the use of color ink.

What is the cost of a tattoo?

The hourly rate is $200.  Tattoos under 2 hours may be given a flat price.  For larger pieces, your artist can estimate how many hours/sessions you may need, then your piece will be timed during your session for actual pricing.  Please book the appropriate appt length for your budget.

What is the minimum price?

The minimum is $100.

Do you accept Credit / Debit Cards?

Yes.

Can you do drawings first so that I can see what the tattoo will look like?

A design will be made once you have committed to getting tattooed with a deposit and appointment. As your appointment approaches, further instructions for the design process will be given and you would get a chance to suggest alterations if necessary.

Do you make house calls or do tattoo parties?

No.
